A selection of photos from a recent real estate marketing assignment, of a newly built home in the exclusive Pajaro Dunes community located between Santa Cruz and Monterey.

This assignment was a bit of a challenge because the foggy season has begun along the California coast, and of course it is preferable to show off the property with sunny weather, especially a beachfront property such as this one. Often, real estate marketing does not permit waiting for ideal conditions for photography. Fortunately, there was a bit of a break in the fog around mid-day and, with a bit of scrambling, I was able to get at least some shots with some sunshine.

Here is a shot of the dining room of a very nicely updated Mid-Century-Modern home in Pebble Beach. When an interior space has nice built in lighting, as in this case, twilight is often the best time to show this, since strong daylight (perhaps with supplemental lighting) will tend to distract from or obscure the quality of the space's built-in lighting.
