Beach Living

A selection of photos from a recent real estate marketing assignment, of a newly built home in the exclusive Pajaro Dunes community located between Santa Cruz and Monterey.

This assignment was a bit of a challenge because the foggy season has begun along the California coast, and of course it is preferable to show off the property with sunny weather, especially a beachfront property such as this one. Often, real estate marketing does not permit waiting for ideal conditions for photography. Fortunately, there was a bit of a break in the fog around mid-day and, with a bit of scrambling, I was able to get at least some shots with some sunshine.

333 Atherton Ave., Atherton, CA-$13,988,000 and sold in 3 Days

Here is a recent ad in the Almanac newspaper (Menlo Park, Atherton and Portola Valley, CA), for which I did the photography.

333 Atherton Ave. Advertisement

This property sold within 3 days of going on the market, which is highly unusual for a property in this price range. Yes, it is 11,000 square feet on 2.5 acres, in one of the most prestigious locations in the country, but still.... The market for these kinds of properties tends to be quite small, and the marketing period tends to be in terms of months, or even years, not weeks or days.
